Yesterday we made our annual pilgrimage to the Christmas tree lot.
As we entered the premises, I reminded the kids that money is tight and we might want to think about getting a smaller tree than usual. Always cooperative (ha!), James immediately made a beeline to this little tree.
Ryan tends to believe that bigger is better.
He bypassed the little trees without a second glance and went right to the tall tree row.
Poor Ryan. I told him $50 or less. His first choice was $2.95 too expensive.

Ryan began to get irritated as all his selections...
were too
expensive!

Hurray! James has found a winner!
On the car...
and in the house. Who's going to come over and help us decorate?
