James' wish list

James is very concerned that I have not yet started shopping for his birthday presents. Last night he wrote up this list of things that he wants. He suggested I scan it and put it on the internet so that hopefully someone, somewhere will buy him something. My interpretation of his wants (just in case it's not obvious!): Pokemon Platinum cards, Nintendo DS Game System, Nerf N Force Sword, a cake (I can probably manage that one), money, a game for the computer (boy=buy), and gum.

Trail riding with Erin

These pictures were taken in December 1987 while I was home in California for Christmas break. I borrowed two horses and Erin and I went riding in the Angeles National Forest. Apparently I was unable to borrow saddles!Erin rode Barbara's horse Baby.
And I rode Kathy's wonderful Elliott.

Fifteen good years

Can you believe this beautiful puppy is now fifteen years old?We are having a birthday celebration in her honor on March 6. If you are in the Aurora area please stop by and bring lots of dog biscuits!

Napping with tools

My kids weren't very good nappers. Poor little James looks like he just passed out from exhaustion here.

Erin's cute animals

I went to Portland and somehow I didn't manage to take any people pictures. This is Erin's cute cat Freckles.
James really, really wants to meet Freckles and even though she looks sweet here, I think she deserves some James love.
This is Bobo. He can spend an entire day sleeping on your lap.
Little sleepyhead!
There is also an Izzy cat, but she is shy and I did not get a picture of her.

Scowling

I think Ryan is mad because he doesn't have as much money as James...

Moneybags

James likes money. He likes spending money, but he likes saving it even more. Yesterday he counted his money and he has over $53. That is worth smiling about. You can build a pretty nice castle with $53.The castle looks even better with Pokemon cards added to it.
James has been carrying his money around with him for several months, but now he says he wants to take it to the bank and start a bank account. I think we'll do that today.
