Dog park Christmas

Seth, Ryan, Darcy, Emma and I spent part of Christmas day at the Cherry Creek Dog Park. It was a good day to go. The weather was nice, and it wasn't very crowded. I took lots of pictures. Here are a few of my favorites.

Merry little Christmas

We must have been good this year because Santa left a lot of presents under our tree.
We gathered together in the living room to open them.
Except for Darcy. Darcy had suspicions and stayed in the hallway.
Open the packages!
I got candy corn candles.
Seth got socks.
James got a gaming headset...
and heart-shaped sunglasses.
Ryan got a block heater...
and tuition money.
Emma got a new sibling.
Twins.
It was a nice Christmas.

Christmas cookies

"I take cookie now, please."
"I really want that cookie, Mama."
"Cookie now, Mama!"
"NOW-WOW-WOW-WOW!"
So I gave her the cookie. One cronch and it was gone.
"That was good, Mama."
"More cookies, please!"
Emma's turn.
"Pay attention, Emma."
"Look at the cookie, Emma."
"Come on, Emma."
"What is wrong with you, Emma?"
 Finally, she took it.
Multiple cronches.
"That pretty good. I take another."

Short visit

Darcy had missed her Aunt Carol almost as much as me. This week, we both got a little fix.

It's hard to be Darcy

Today was Thanksgiving, and Darcy spent the entire day waiting for her turkey dinner.
It was a long wait, and Darcy was hungry. She decided to take matters into her own paws.
Oh no! Intrusion detected.
Intrusion repelled.
Sorry, Darcy. This turkey's not for you.
This is your turkey dinner.
It's almost as good.... (not really!)
Nom! Nom! Nom!
