Darcy comes out every now and then because she knows there are bonies on the counter.

Emma doesn't care about bonies.  She stays hidden.

Dogs in the snow

When we got Maggie in 2005, she was seven and Abbie was eleven.

Darcy was just four months old when she joined our family in 2010.  Maggie was twelve.

Two years later, we adopted Emma.  She was a little more than a year old.

So, now we have two dogs whose combined ages are less than five. 

This is not like having an old dog and young dog or two middle aged dogs. 

The energy produced by two young dogs is absolutely crazy.

No, really. 

They're crazy. 

And this kind of wild play just goes on... 

 and on!
