Spitz weather

Both our girls like to play in the snow, but today it's just too cold for Emma.

Every time I make her go outside, she just stands there with her eyes shut looking miserable. 

Not Darcy. 

Darcy is a Spitz and she loves this weather. 

She runs... 

and plays... 

and runs some more. 

It's never too cold for a Spitz!

Geese

When it's cold and snowy, the geese gather at the golf course next to the barn.

Sometimes they all take to the air at the same time like a big, dark, noisy cloud.

Ryan's laptop

My friend, Tiffany, sent the boys a new-to-them laptop.

Unfortunately for James, the laptop arrived while he was still in Vegas.  I'm pretty sure it's Ryan's laptop now.

White day after Christmas

We had a sort of white Christmas.  It snowed, but not until after the sun had gone down.  I'm not sure that counts!  

Oh well.  Dogs didn't care.  They think snow after Christmas is just fine.

Christmas stockings

Christmas morning begins with the stockings.

Ryan can barely contain his excitement. 

Woo hoo!  James got M&M's!

They all got underwear, too.

Early Christmas

We went to Carol's house for dinner...

and Christmas.

We each had a gift under the tree. 

Ryan got Circus Peanuts. 

So did James. 

Hmmmm.  This doesn't feel like Circus Peanuts. 

Wooden spoons! 

I also got a rat, which James stole...

and two ponies... 

(they're finger puppets)... 

that Emma wants to steal.  Stay away, bad dog!
