The Beach Boys

Although being unemployed is never fun, it's definitely better to be unemployed in the summer than in the fall. Seth and the boys have had fun finding different ways to beat the heat. On Tuesday they drove up to Berthoud Pass and hiked to the snow. Today they visited the swim beach at Cherry Creek State Park. I went with them so there are lots of pictures. This picture shows Seth and Ryan heading down to the water.

Predictably, James was the first one in.

Nothing feels better on a hot day...than cold water!

Ryan didn't go in empty handed.

Of course once James saw Ryan playing with his floatie...

he had to go get his.

Seth brought a floatie, too.

Ryan really liked riding in Seth's floatie.

However, he was not too excited about swimming under it.

Perhaps fearing for his life, Ryan decided to abandon the water for the relative safety of the sand.

"Whatcha doing?"

Working together like good friends should.

I wonder what adventures tomorrow will bring?
