I told the kids at the beginning of summer that if they found a Coke with their name on it, I would buy it for them.  Yesterday--finally!--the Ryan and James Cokes were located.

Ryan got a Diet Coke since Memere said he needed to go on a diet!

Walls

Ryan is in high school now, and that means he's old enough to have his own room.  We moved his bed into the basement earlier this month...

and yesterday the walls went up! 

We found these seven foot cubicle walls on Craig's List.   

We're a few panels short of our ultimate goal... 

but Ryan's not complaining!

First day

The kids started school today.

Ryan is in ninth grade. 

James is in seventh.

Last day

Today was the last day of summer vacation.

 It's been a mostly good summer.

I just wish it could be a couple weeks longer!
